Arla 32 (Petrobras Flua)

ARLA 32 (Automotive Liquid Reducing Agent) is a chemical that acts to reduce the nitrogen oxide (NOx) released by vehicular exhaust gases. Reacting with these gases, ARLA 32 turns NOx into water vapor and nitrogen, gases that are harmless to human health. ARLA 32 allows the Euro V emissions standard - for engines fitted with the SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction) -, to be met.

To ensure product quality all the way to the end consumer, we have rolled-out Petrobras Flua on the market. This is the only ARLA 32 with Petrobras brand's quality assurance. It is certified by INMETRO and meets international quality requirements set forth under ISO 22241.

Petrobras FLUA is a non-flammable, non-toxic, non-explosive liquid and, therefore, it is very safe. It is available in 10-, 20-, 200-, and 1000-liter packages or in bulk.

Since 2012, most heavy vehicles manufactured in Brazil, such as trucks and buses, have been fitted with SCR technology. For these engines, the use of FLUA (Arla 32) is mandatory, as well as that of Diesel S-10..
