The conversion of vehicles to natural gas, mainly in taxi fleets in large centers, helped to popularize CNG. It is a fossil fuel, like oil, but it has some differences:
- It offers an advantage in the cost per kilometer driven.
- As it is dry, it does not cause carbon residues in the internal parts of the engine, increasing its useful life and oil change interval.
