Main advantages of CNG

The conversion of vehicles to natural gas, mainly in taxi fleets in large centers, helped to popularize CNG. It is a fossil fuel, like oil, but it has some differences:
  • It offers an advantage in the cost per kilometer driven.
  • As it is dry, it does not cause carbon residues in the internal parts of the engine, increasing its useful life and oil change interval.
  • It has low nitrogen, carbon dioxide and sulfur emissions, improving the air in urban centers.
Cars converted to CNG become bi-fuel, allowing the driver to choose the best option when fueling.
