Our energy to sponsor women's soccer

There is no doubt that Brazil is the country of soccer. But we have a very important challenge to this energy truly inspire all Brazilians: to strengthen women's soccer so it continues gaining space on and off the field.

We have a comprehensive sponsorship strategy for women's soccer. We aim to promote competitions, encourage the development of new athletes and professional infrastructure, as well as carry out actions to combat prejudice and empower women.

This investment also has a symbolic character because beyond sports, we are also addressing equity, diversity, and inclusion.

We begin writing this story in São Paulo

Together with the São Paulo Soccer Federation (FPF), we form a great team to encourage women's presence in Brazil's most popular sport. The investments will have a direct impact on organizing and promoting competitions, providing visibility, and encouraging the development of new talents on and off the field.

Support in all categories

The agreement is valid for all women's soccer competitions and events in São Paulo in 2024, including the Paulistão, the oldest and most traditional women's competition in Brazil, the Copinha Feminina, the Copa Paulista, and the Taça Paulistana.

It all starts at the basic level:

Youth championships and festivals have gained a new name: Paulista Petrobras Women's Soccer Under-20 and Under-17, Petrobras Sub-12 and Sub-14 Women's Soccer Festival, and Petrobras Caravan for the Development of Women's Soccer.

Professional development:

We will support projects to train soccer professionals, such as the Female Leadership course promoted by FPF and the La Liga Women's Week (Spain), in addition to social and environmental responsibility actions.

Increase in prizes:

Immediately, the participating clubs in the current edition of the Paulistão Feminino will receive an additional bonus totaling R$ 1 million. This means that the total amout to be distributed to clubs will be R$ 4.23 million.
